Photos Are From A Fire Operations Demonstration held on 9/19/2004 by the OSSINING Fire Dept. Engine 97, Rescue 14 ,Ladder 41 and Marine 14.
Ossining FD Engine 97 drafts from the Hudson River on Sept 19, 2004 during a Fire Prevention Day. The public got a good idea of the capabilities of OFD as they toured Fire Boat 14 and watched members perform vehicle Extrication (Rescue 14) as well as elevated master streams from Ladder 41.
Planning for this was coordinated by Capt. A. Fisher and the "Embrace the Hudson" community day held in Harbor Square.
