2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Package

The Pleasantville Fire District recently took delivery of their new Chief’s command vehicle, a 2007 Chevrolet Police Package Tahoe.

The overall conversion package includes a 55 inch Whelen Freedom LED lightbar, two 700 series Super LEDs behind the front grille, a TIR6 LED Traffic Advisor above the ear cargo door, headlight flasher and four HideAway strobes in the rear taillights. Two Whelen Strip Lite LEDs were added to the upper face of the rear cargo door, that are visible to vehicles approaching from the rear. A CenCom system and 100 watt siren speaker complete the warning system.

The cargo compartment command cabinet contains a slide out incident command board, hanging file drawer, storage compartments for 1st responder gear, and walkaway SCBA bracket. It also provides a mounting platform for rear control heads for the two department radios, the new Westchester County trunked radio and three portable radios. Two additional utility lights were added for supplemental lighting during night operations.

The center console is a 24 inch Havis-Shields which contains the radio control heads, CenCom system controller, dual cup holder and 6 inch storage compartment. A custom exterior graphics package finishes the outside of the vehicle.
